Hola amigos,
Barcelona is a place to fall in love with. The hostel we are staying in is located on a hill in the middle of Barcelona and the view, as you will see, is spectacular. On this portion of the trip we have realized how beneficial it is to buy food at the market and cook it yourself. We have been making pastas paired with wines for dinner and eggs with seasoned potatoes for breakfast. The kicker is the fact that we have the best view to enjoy it with.
Just so all the women of the U.S. know, Dylan and I have been called "bonitos", and do not forget it. Haha! (Ya...pretty...)
There were 5 Canadians that were also staying in our hotel and the seven of us get along quite well. Their group of friends has a very similar dynamic to ours at home. We get a bit rowdy and have a great time. Not only are the Canadians fun but the entire city and people we lived near were great. Barcelona was just full of good vibes!
The parks and buildings and general surroundings are fascinating. We spent time in Parque Guell among many others. After the park we met the Canadians at the beach and, as always at the beach, it was great. We certainly won't complain about the topless women. ( maybe some of them).
On our final night I went out to the club with our new friends and had a blast. Bars open until 8am, access to the beach, and dollar beers sold out front before you go in. Good times. Thanks to Derrick, Steve, Neil, Kyle, and JC. Hope to see you in Italy!
